Thorns (Al-Masad)

5 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Key (Al-Faatehah) before The Rolling (Al-Takweer)

In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful

The power of Abu Lahab will perish, and he will perish. 1 His wealth will not avail him or that which he gained. 2 Anon he shall roast into Fire having flame. 3 And his wife, the bearer of fuel, 4 In her neck is a twisted rope of Masad (palm fibre). 5

Almighty Allah's Truth.
