It is He who sends down rain from the sky: from it ye drink, and out of it (grows) the vegetation on which ye feed your cattle. 10 And thereby He brings forth crops and olives, palms and vines, and all the fruits. Surely, in this there is a sign for a nation who think. 11 And He has made the night and the day and the sun and the moon subservient [to His laws, so that they be of use] to you; and all the stars are subservient to His command: in this, behold, there are messages indeed for people who use their reason! 12 And whatsoever He has created for you on this earth of varying colours [and qualities from vegetation and fruits, etc. (botanical life) and from animal (zoological life)]. Verily! In this is a sign for people who remember. 13 It is He Who has made the sea subject, that ye may eat thereof flesh that is fresh and tender, and that ye may extract therefrom ornaments to wear; and thou seest the ships therein that plough the waves, that ye may seek (thus) of the bounty of Allah and that ye may be grateful. 14 And He hath cast into the earth firm hills that it quake not with you, and streams and roads that ye may find a way. 15 as well as [various other] means of orientation: for [it is] by the stars that men find their way. 16 Is then He, Who creates as one who creates not? Will you not then remember? 17 If you tried to count God's blessings, you would never be able to number them. God is ever forgiving and most merciful. 18 And Allah knows what you conceal and what you do openly. 19 Those whom they (Al-Mushrikun) invoke besides Allah have not created anything, but are themselves created. 20 They are dead, not living; nor do they know when they will be raised to life. 21
