Y S (Yaa Seen)
In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful
Ya Sin. 1 Consider this Qur'an full of wisdom: 2 you (Prophet Muhammad) are truly among the Messengers sent 3 on a straight path; 4 A revelation from the mighty, ever-merciful (God), 5 so that you may warn a people whose fathers were not warned, and so were heedless. 6 The sentence is surely justified against most of them, for they do not believe. 7 Indeed, We have put shackles on their necks, and they are to their chins, so they are with heads [kept] aloft. 8 and We have put a barrier before them and a barrier behind them, and have covered them up, so they are unable to see. 9 Whether you warn them or do not warn, it is all the same; they will not believe. 10 Thou canst [truly] warn only him who is willing to take the reminder to heart, and who stands in awe of the Most Gracious although He is beyond the reach of human perception: unto such, then, give the glad tiding of [God's] forgiveness and of a most excellent reward! 11 Verily We shall give life to the dead, and We record that which they send before and that which they leave behind, and of all things have We taken account in a clear Book (of evidence). 12
