And warnings came in truth unto the house of Pharaoh 41 They, too, rejected all Our signs. So We seized them with the seizure of One Mighty, Omnipotent. 42 Are your unbelievers (of Makkah) any better than they? Or have you been granted any immunity in the Scriptures? 43 Or do they say: We are a host allied together to help each other? 44 The army will be routed and put to flight. 45 Nay, but the Hour (of doom) is their appointed tryst, and the Hour will be more wretched and more bitter (than their earthly failure). 46 Verily, the Mujrimun (polytheists, disbelievers, sinners, criminals, etc.) are in error (in this world) and will burn (in the Hell-fire in the Hereafter). 47 On the Day when they are dragged on their faces into the Fire, (it will be said to them): 'Taste the touch of the Scorching' 48 Indeed, all things We created with predestination. 49 And Our command is but one (word) swift as the winking of an eye. 50 And certainly We have already destroyed the likes of you, but is there anyone who will mind? 51 And everything they have done is in the writings. 52 and everything, great and small, is inscribed. 53 Verily, The Muttaqun (pious), will be in the midst of Gardens and Rivers (Paradise). 54 At the still centre in the proximity of the King all-powerful. 55
