Dispatched (Al-Mursalaat)
In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate
By those [winds] sent forth in gusts 1 By the raging hurricanes, 2 By those which cause earth's vegetation to revive; 3 Then separate them, one from another, 4 and by those who reveal revelations (to the prophets) 5 to excuse some and warn others: 6 that which you have been promised shall be fulfilled. 7 So when the stars are extinguished, 8 And when the heaven is opened 9 The mountains will be blown away as dust. 10 And when the apostles are collected at the appointed time, 11 For what day has the term [of all this] been set? 12 The Day of Judgement. 13 And what could make thee conceive what that Day of Distinction will be? 14 Woe on that Day to those that give the lie to the Truth! 15 Did We not destroy many a nation of the earlier times? 16 Then We will follow them with the later ones. 17 This is how We deal with the guilty. 18 Woe on that Day to those who belied it! 19 Have We not created you from a fluid (held) despicable?- 20 which We then let remain in [the womb's] firm keeping 21 For a period (of gestation), determined (according to need)? 22 Thus did We Plan and how excellent is Our planning! 23 Woe on that Day to those who reject the truth! 24 Have We not made the earth a receptacle. 25 For the living and the dead, 26 Set We not therein soaring mountains? Sated you with sweetest water? 27 Woe unto the repudiators on that day! 28 [They will be told], "Proceed to that which you used to deny. 29 Walk on to the covering having three branches, 30 affording neither shade, nor protection from the flames, 31 Indeed hell throws up sparks like huge castles. 32 as black camels. 33 Woe unto the repudiators on that day! 34 that Day on which they will not [be able to] utter a word, 35 Nor are they suffered to put forth excuses. 36 Woe on that Day to those that give the lie to the Truth! 37 That will be the Day of Reckoning. Gathered will be (you) and the earlier (generations). 38 If you have any plans, use them. 39 Woe on that Day to those that give the lie to the Truth! 40
