The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)

Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful

By the (Steeds) that run, with panting (breath), 1 by the strikers of fire, 2 And scouring to the raid at dawn 3 raising a trail of dust, 4 cleaving there with a host! 5 The human being is certainly ungrateful to his Lord. 6 And indeed, he is to that a witness. 7 And is intractable in his love of worldly goods. 8 ۞ Does he not then know when what is in the graves is raised, 9 And what is in the breasts is made apparent? 10 On that day their Lord surely knows all about them! 11

True are the words of God the Almighty.
