۞ By inspiration we told Moses: "Travel by night with my servants; for surely ye shall be pursued." 52 Then Fir'aun (Pharaoh) sent callers to (all) the cities. 53 Most surely these are a small company; 54 They are always harassing us. 55 We are warning all of you about them." 56 So We expelled them from gardens, springs, 57 Treasures, and every kind of honourable position; 58 This happened with them; (but on the other hand), We enabled the Children of Israel to inherit those bounties. 59 Pharaoh and his people pursued them at sunrise, 60 and when the two groups saw each other, Moses' companions said, "We are sure to be overtaken." 61 Said he, 'No indeed; surely my Lord is with me; He will guide me.' 62 Then We bade Moses strike the sea with his staff. And it parted, and each part was like a huge mountain. 63 And We brought near, there, the others. 64 and We saved Moses and those who were with him together, 65 and then We caused the others to drown. 66 Indeed in this is surely a sign, and most of them were not Muslims. 67 truly, your Lord is the Mighty One, the Merciful. 68
