The people of Noah also rejected the messengers. 105 Recall when their brother Noah said to them: "Do you have no fear? 106 Verily I am unto you an apostle trusted. 107 be, then, conscious of God, and pay heed unto me! 108 And I ask of you no wage therefor; my wage is the concern only of the Lord of the Worlds. 109 So fear Allah and obey me." 110 ۞ They said: shall We believe in thee when the meanest follow thee? 111 He said: 'I have no knowledge of what they have done. 112 It is only for my Lord to take account of them. Would that you made use of your understanding! 113 It is not for me to repel those who choose to believe. 114 I am only a clear warner' 115 They said, "If you do not desist, O Noah, you will surely be of those who are stoned." 116 He said: My Lord! Surely my people give me the lie! 117 So pass a clear judgement between me and them and rescue me and the believers with me." 118 And We saved him and those with him in the laden ship. 119 Then We drowned the rest thereafter. 120 Verily there is a sign in this, yet many of them do not believe. 121 And most surely your Lord is the Mighty, the Merciful. 122
