And We indeed did a great favour to Moosa and Haroon. 114 And We saved them and their people from the great distress; 115 and succoured them, so that [in the end] it was they who achieved victory. 116 And We gave them the divine writ that made [right and wrong] distinct, 117 and guided them to the straight path; 118 And left (their remembrance) for posterity. 119 Peace be upon Moosa and Haroon! 120 Even thus do We reward the doers of good. 121 they were among Our believing servants. 122 And Ilyas was most surely of the apostles. 123 when he said to his people, 'Will you not be godfearing? 124 Will ye cry unto Baal and forsake the Best of creators, 125 Allah, your Lord and the Lord of your first forefathers?" 126 But they denounced him as a liar, so they will surely be arraigned (for punishment), 127 Except the bondmen of Allah sincere. 128 We left him thus to be succeeded by a group [of followers] among the following generations -- 129 Peace be on Elias. 130 Even so We recompense the good-doers; 131 he was among Our believing servants. 132 Verily Lot was one of the apostles, 133 [So mention] when We saved him and his family, all, 134 except for an old woman who was among those that stayed behind. 135 Then We destroyed the others. 136 Verily, ye pass by their (sites), by day- 137 And at night; will you not then reflect? 138
