The warnings also came to Pharaoh's people, 41 Who denied Our revelations, every one. Therefore We grasped them with the grasp of the Mighty, the Powerful. 42 Are your infidels better than these? Or is there an immunity for you in the Writs? 43 Or do they say: 'We are a gathering that will be victorious' 44 The hosts will all be routed and will turn and flee. 45 Nay; the Hour of Doom is their appointed time, and the Hour shall be more calamitous and bitter. 46 Indeed the wrongdoers are in error and a raging fire. 47 The Day they are dragged into the Fire on their faces [it will be said], "Taste the touch of Saqar." 48 Verily, all things have We created in proportion and measure. 49 And Our commandment shall be but one, as the twinkling of an eye. 50 And verily We have destroyed your fellows; but is there any that remembereth? 51 All things they do are (recorded) in the books; 52 and everything, great and small, is inscribed. 53 Surely those who fear God and follow the straight path will be amidst gardens and light, 54 in a secure abode, in the presence of the Powerful King. 55
