The All High (Al-A'alaa)
19 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Rolling (Al-Takweer) before The Night (Al-Layl)
In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful
۞ Hallow thou the name of thine Lord, the Most High, 1 Who creates and proportions, 2 Who measureth, then guideth; 3 Who bringeth forth the pasturage, 4 Then turneth it to russet stubble. 5 We shall make you recite and then you will not forget, 6 Except what Allah wills; indeed He knows all the evident and all the concealed. 7 And We will make it easy for thee (to follow) the simple (Path). 8 Therefore remind (men) in case the reminder profits (them). 9 Those who have fear of God will benefit 10 But the wretched one will avoid it - 11 even he who shall roast in the Great Fire, 12 where he will neither die nor live. 13 He is successful who groweth, 14 remembering his Lord's name and praying. 15 But rather you prefer the life of this world! 16 Although the Hereafter is better and more lasting. 17 Verily this is in Writs ancient 18 The scriptures of Abraham and Moses. 19
True are the words of God the Almighty.
