The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
(I swear) by the snorting chargers (of the warriors), whose hoofs strike against the rocks 1 And striking off fire by dashing their hoofs. 2 And raiding at dawn 3 raising a trail of dust, 4 Penetrating forthwith as one into the midst (of the foe); 5 Lo! man is an ingrate unto his Lord 6 And lo! he is a witness unto that; 7 And violent is he in his love of wealth. 8 ۞ Does he not know that on the day when those in the graves are resurrected 9 And that within the breasts is obtained, 10 On that day will their Lord be perfectly informed concerning them. 11
