Hoarding (Al-Takaathur)

8 verses, revealed in Mecca after Bounty (Al-Kawthar) before Charity (Al-Maa'oon)

In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful

Abundance diverts you, 1 until you come to the graves. 2 Yes certainly, you will soon realise! 3 Then no! You are going to know. 4 Lo! would that ye knew now with the surety of knowledge! 5 You have indeed to behold Hell; 6 Aye, ye will behold it with sure vision. 7 Then, on that Day, ye shall surely be asked of the delights. 8

True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
