And We verily gave grace unto Moses and Aaron, 114 And saved them and their people from great distress, 115 And We helped them, so that they were the victors; 116 and We gave them the Clear Book, 117 And showed them the right path. 118 And We left for them (a goodly remembrance) among generations (to come) in later times; 119 Peace be unto Moses and Aaron! 120 Lo! thus do We reward the good. 121 Surely they were both of Our believing servants. 122 And Ilyas was most surely of the apostles. 123 When he said to his people, "Will you not fear Allah? 124 "Will you call upon Ba'l (a well- known idol of his nation whom they used to worship) and forsake the Best of creators, 125 who is your Lord and the Lord of your forefathers?" 126 But they denounced him as a liar, so they will surely be arraigned (for punishment), 127 except the sincere servants of God. 128 And We left (this blessing) for him among generations (to come) in later times: 129 "Peace be on Elijah and his people!" 130 In this way do We reward the righteous ones. 131 He was among Our believing worshipers. 132 Lot, too, was among the Messengers. 133 When We saved him and his household, every one, 134 Save an old woman among the lingerers. 135 and We destroyed the others. 136 and, verily, [to this day] you pass by the remnants of their dwellings at morning-time 137 And at night. Then will you not use reason? 138
