We also favored Moses and Aaron 114 and We delivered them and their people from the great distress. 115 And helped them, so that they became the victors; 116 And We bestowed the clear Book to both of them. 117 And showed them the right path. 118 And We left for them [favorable mention] among later generations: 119 Peace be upon Moosa and Haroon! 120 Thus do We reward the righteous ones. 121 They were two of Our believing servants. 122 So also was Elias among those sent (by Us). 123 When he said to his people, "Will you not fear Allah? 124 “What! You worship Baal (an idol) and leave the Best Creator?” – 125 God your Lord and Lord of your forefathers?" 126 But they rejected him, and they will certainly be called up (for punishment),- 127 excepting only [those who were] God's true servants; 128 And we left for him among the later folk (the salutation): 129 Peace be upon Elias. 130 Thus do We reward the good-doers. 131 He was one of Our believing servants. 132 And verily Lut was of the sent ones. 133 (Call to mind) when We delivered him and all his kinsfolk, 134 Except an old woman (his wife) who was among those who remained behind. 135 and then We utterly destroyed the others: 136 and you pass by them in the morning 137 Or at night. Then how is it you do not understand? 138
