When Moses said to his (assisting) youth: 'I will not give up until I reach the point where the two seas meet even though I should go on for many years' 60 But when at last they came to the land where the two seas met, they forgot their fish and it swiftly made its way into the sea. 61 And when they had gone further, he said unto his servant: Bring us our breakfast. Verily we have found fatigue in this our journey. 62 He said: lookest thou! when we betook ourselves to the rock, then I forgot the fish; and naught but the Satan made me forget to mention it, and it took its way into the sea - a marvel! 63 Moses said: "That is what we were looking for." So the two turned back, retracing their footsteps, 64 Then they found one from among Our servants whom We had granted mercy from Us and whom We had taught knowledge from Ourselves. 65 Moses said unto him: "May I follow thee on the understanding that thou wilt impart to me something of that consciousness of what is right which has been imparted to thee?" 66 (The other) said: "Verily thou wilt not be able to have patience with me!" 67 for how couldst thou be patient about something that thou canst not comprehend within the compass of [thy] experience?" 68 He said: If Allah pleases, you will find me patient and I shall not disobey you in any matter. 69 He said, “Therefore if you stay with me, do not ask me about anything until I myself mention it to you.” 70
