Hizb 46
< random >
Verily Jonah is one of the apostles. 139 Call to mind when he fled to the laden ship, 140 Then he joined the lots, and was of the condemned. 141 Then he was swallowed by a large fish as he was worthy of blame. 142 And had he not been one of those who glorify (Allah) 143 He would have remained inside its belly until the Day they are resurrected. 144 ۞ but We caused him to be cast forth on a desert shore, sick [at heart] as he was, 145 And We caused a tree of gourd to grow above him; 146 And We sent him to a hundred thousand (people) or even more. 147 and they believed in him: so We let them live in ease for a while. 148 Now, ask them, has your Lord daughters, and they sons? 149 Or, did We create the angels females while they were witnessing? 150 Is it not a lie invented by them when they say: 151 Allah has begotten; and most surely they are liars. 152 “Has he chosen daughters instead of sons?” 153 What is amiss with you and your judgment? 154 Will you then not take heed? 155 Or, is there for you a clear warranty 156 Produce, then, that divine writ of yours, if you are speaking the truth! 157 And they have appointed a relationship between Him and the jinns; and indeed the jinns surely know that they will be brought forth. 158 limitless is God in His glory, above anything that men may devise by way of definition! 159 but not so the true servants of God, 160 For, verily, neither ye nor those ye worship- 161 you shall tempt none against Him 162 Save him Who is to roast in the Flaming Fire. 163 There is not one of us but hath his known position. 164 we are the rangers, 165 and we are of those who glorify Allah.” 166 What though they would say, 167 "If we had had with us a Book like that of the people of old, 168 We would have been the chosen creatures of God." 169 But (now) they disbelieve in it, so they will come to know. 170 We have already given Our promise to Our Messengers 171 will certainly be victorious 172 and that Our hosts shall triumph. 173 So you ignore them for a time 174 And watch them, for they will soon see. 175 Our torment seek they to hasten on! 176 When it lights in their courtyard, how evil will be the morning of them that are warned! 177 So turn (O Muhammad SAW) away from them for a while, 178 and see; and they too shall soon see. 179 Purity is to your Lord, the Lord of Honour, from all what they say. 180 And peace be on the apostles. 181 and praise belongs to God, the Lord of all Being. 182
God the Almighty always says the truth.
