We saved the Children of Israel from their humiliating torment 30 They (had experienced) under the Pharaoh. He was certainly a tyrant, guilty of excess. 31 And We certainly chose them by knowledge over [all] the worlds. 32 and gave them such signs [of Our grace] as would clearly presage a test. 33 These men do say, 34 “There is nothing except our dying just once, and we will not be raised.” 35 Bring back to life our fathers if what you say is true". 36 Are they better than the people of Tubba' and those who came before them? We destroyed them, because they were guilty of sin. 37 We have not created the heavens and the earth and all that lies between them, out of play. 38 We created them not save in truth; but most of them know it not. 39 Indeed, the Day of Judgement is the appointed time for them all - 40 the Day when no friend shall be of the least avail to his friend, and when none shall be succoured 41 save those upon whom God will have bestowed His grace and mercy: for, verily, He alone is almighty, a dispenser of grace. 42
