Al-Haaqqah 2 of 2

BUT NAY! I call to witness all that you can see, 38 And what ye see not, 39 That this is verily the word of an honoured Messenger [i.e. Jibrael (Gabriel) or Muhammad SAW which he has brought from Allah]. 40 And it is not the speech of a poet; how little do you believe! 41 Nor is it the word of a soothsayer (or a foreteller), little is that you remember! 42 [it is] a revelation from the Sustainer of all the worlds. 43 Had he invented sayings against Us, 44 We would have definitely taken revenge from him. 45 and cut-off his main artery. 46 and none of you could have held Us off from him. 47 The Quran is certainly a reminder for the pious ones. 48 And lo! We know that some among you will deny (it). 49 But truly (Revelation) is a cause of sorrow for the Unbelievers. 50 And lo! it is absolute truth. 51 So exalt the name of your Lord, the Most Great. 52

True are the words of God the Almighty.
