۞ We have sent revelation to you [Prophet] as We did to Noah and the prophets who came after him, to Abraham, Ishmael, Isaac, Jacob, and the Tribes, to Jesus, Job, Jonah, Aaron, and Solomon and David, to whom We gave the Psalms. 163 And Messengers We have mentioned to you before, and Messengers We have not mentioned to you, - and to Musa (Moses) Allah spoke directly. 164 We sent all these apostles as bearers of glad tidings and warners in order that there be no plea for mankind against Allah after the apostles; and Allah is ever Mighty Wise. 165 How be it, Allah beareth witness by that which He hath sent down unto thee. He sent it down with His own knowledge and the angels also bear witness; and sufficieth Allah as a Witness. 166 Those who reject Faith and keep off (men) from the way of Allah, have verily strayed far, far away from the Path. 167 Verily those who have disbelieved and done wrong, Allah is not one to forgive them nor to guide them to any way. 168 Except the way of Hell, to dwell therein for ever. And this to Allah is easy. 169 O Mankind, the Messenger has come to you with the truth from your Lord, so believe; it is better for you. But if you disbelieve - then indeed, to Allah belongs whatever is in the heavens and earth. And ever is Allah Knowing and Wise. 170 O People of the Book! Commit no excesses in your religion: Nor say of Allah aught but the truth. Christ Jesus the son of Mary was (no more than) a messenger of Allah, and His Word, which He bestowed on Mary, and a spirit proceeding from Him: so believe in Allah and His messengers. Say not "Trinity": desist: it will be better for you: for Allah is one Allah: Glory be to Him: (far exalted is He) above having a son. To Him belong all things in the heavens and on earth. And enough is Allah as a Disposer of affairs. 171
