Verily We bestowed Our favours on Moses and Aaron 114 And rescued them and their people from the great calamity. 115 And helped them so that they became the victors. 116 We gave them the enlightening Book, 117 And We guided them on the straight path. 118 and We left them thus to be succeeded by a group [of followers] among later generations: 119 Peace be unto Moses and Aaron! 120 Indeed, We thus reward the doers of good. 121 They are among Our faithful devotees. 122 And Elias (El Yaseen) was among the Messengers. 123 When he said to his people, "Will you not fear Allah? 124 Do you call upon Baal and forsake the Best of the Creators? 125 Allah, your Lord and Lord of your forefathers? 126 They called him a liar. Thus, all of them will suffer torment 127 But not the servants of Allah, the purified ones. 128 and We left for him among the later folk 129 "Peace upon Elias." 130 Thus do We reward the good-doers. 131 Indeed, he was of Our believing servants. 132 And lo! Lot verily was of those sent (to warn). 133 [and so,] when [We decreed the doom of his sinful town,] We saved him and his household, 134 Except an old woman, who became of those who stayed behind. 135 Then We destroyed the others. 136 And indeed, you pass by them in the morning 137 and at night. Do you still not understand? 138

Notes and Instructions
قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
