The Arrangers (Al-Saaffaat)
In the name of Allah, most benevolent, ever-merciful
I swear by those who draw themselves out in ranks 1 And those who drive away (the wicked) with reproof 2 And those who recite the Reminder, 3 surely your God is One, 4 the Sustainer of the heavens and the earth and of all that is between them, and the Sustainer of all the points of sunrise! 5 We have adorned the lower heaven with the adornment of the planets, 6 And (there is) a safeguard against every rebellious Shaitan. 7 they listen not to the High Council, for they are pelted from every side, 8 Repelled; and for them is a constant punishment, 9 except such as snatches a fragment, and he is pursued by a piercing flame. 10 Just ask their opinion: are they the more difficult to create, or the (other) beings We have created? Them have We created out of a sticky clay! 11 You marvel (at the wondrous creations of Allah) and they scoff at it, 12 And heed not when they are reminded, 13 and when they become aware of a [divine] message, they turn it to ridicule 14 And they say: this Qur'an is naught but magic manifest. 15 What! when we are dead and have become dust and bones, shall we then certainly be raised, 16 and perhaps also our forebears of old?" 17 You say: "Yes; and you will be lowly made." 18 The Day of Judgment will come within a single roar and they will remain gazing at it. 19 And they will say: Ah! woe be unto us! this is the Day of Requital. 20 "(Yes,) this is the Day of Judgement you had called a lie." 21
