Lo! the tree of Zaqqum, 43 Is the food of the sinners. 44 Like the dregs of all! It shall seethe in the bellies: 45 as the boiling of the hot water. 46 Lay hold of him, and drag him unto the midst of the Flaming Fire. 47 "Then pour over his head the torment of scalding water." 48 Taste thou! thou art indeed mighty, honoured! 49 Verily this is that whereof ye were wont to doubt. 50 Verily the God-fearing shall be in a secure place 51 amidst gardens and fountains, 52 robed in silk and brocade, set face to face. 53 so it will be. We shall wed them to maidens with large, dark eyes. 54 In it they will ask for all kinds of fruit, with safety. 55 They will not taste death again in it, except their former death; and Allah has saved them from the punishment of fire. 56 as an act of grace. That will be the supreme triumph. 57 We have made this Quran easy to understand, in your own language, so that they may take heed. 58 So wait thou and watch; for they (too) are waiting. 59
