The Companions of the Rocky Tract also rejected the messengers: 80 And We gave them Our signs, and they remained averse to them. 81 Out of the mountains did they hew (their) edifices, (feeling themselves) secure. 82 So the scream overcame them at morning. 83 And of no avail to them was all that they did (with such art and care)! 84 And We have not created the heavens and earth and that between them except in truth. And indeed, the Hour is coming; so forgive with gracious forgiveness. 85 For verily it is thy Lord who is the Master-Creator, knowing all things. 86 And indeed We have given you seven verses that are repeated, and the great Qur’an. 87 Do not extend your eyes toward that by which We have given enjoyment to [certain] categories of the disbelievers, and do not grieve over them. And lower your wing to the believers 88 And say: "I am indeed he that warneth openly and without ambiguity,"- 89 As We have sent down on the dividers, (Quraish pagans or Jews and Christians). 90 Who have made the Qur'an into portions. 91 Now by thy Lord, We shall surely question them all together 92 For that which they have been working. 93 Proclaim then, what you are commanded and turn away from the unbelievers. 94 We shall help you against those who mock you 95 Who place other gods besides God. They will come to know soon. 96 And surely We know that your breast straitens at what they say; 97 When (you feel so) glorify your Lord with His praise and prostrate yourself before Him, 98 and serve thy Lord, until the Certain comes to thee. 99
