The Poets (Alshu'araa')

227 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Inevitable (Al-Waaqe'ah) before The Ant (Al-Naml)

In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful

۞ Ta. Sin. Mim. 1 These are the verses of the Book that makes things clear. 2 You may perhaps wear out your heart because they do not come to belief. 3 If We will, We shall send down on them out of heaven a sign, so their necks will stay humbled to it. 4 A fresh remembrance has never come to them from the Merciful, except they turn away from it. 5 They have called (our revelation) lies. They will soon learn the consequences of what they mocked. 6 Have they not seen the earth, how much of every fruitful kind We make to grow therein? 7 Lo! herein is indeed a portent; yet most of them are not believers. 8 And lo! thy Lord! He is indeed the Mighty, the Merciful. 9
