1/2 Hizb 45

۞ Gather all the wicked together and their comrades, and those they had worshipped 22 Instead of Allah, and lead them to the path to hell; 23 And stop them; indeed, they are to be questioned." 24 'But what is the matter with you that you cannot help one another?,'" 25 Indeed, today they are surrendering themselves completely.” 26 They will then turn towards each other (and start wrangling). 27 "It was you who tried to mislead us from righteousness". 28 Others will respond, "It was you who did not want to have any faith. 29 "Nor had we any authority over you. Nay, it was ye who were a people in obstinate rebellion! 30 So the word of our Lord has come into effect upon us; indeed, we will taste [punishment]. 31 We seduced you astray; verily we were ourselves the seduced ones. 32 So all of them on that day are sharers in the chastisement. 33 Lo! thus deal We with the guilty. 34 Truly, when it was said to them: La ilaha ill-Allah "(none has the right to be worshipped but Allah)," they puffed themselves up with pride (i.e. denied it). 35 and said: “Shall we forsake our deities for the sake of a distracted poet?” 36 No, indeed, he has brought the truth, and confirmed the Messengers. 37 Ye shall indeed taste of the Grievous Penalty;- 38 and will be recompensed only for what you deserve. 39 But not the chosen servants of Allah. 40 will have their determined sustenance 41 Fruits. And they will be honoured 42 in the Gardens of Bliss. 43 They will be seated upon couches set face to face; 44 a cup from a spring being passed round to them, 45 white, sparkling (wine), a delight to the drinkers. 46 Neither they will have Ghoul (any kind of hurt, abdominal pain, headache, a sin, etc.) from that, nor will they suffer intoxication therefrom. 47 and with them wide-eyed maidens restraining their glances 48 (Pure) as they were hidden eggs (of the ostrich). 49 Then they will turn to one another and question one another. 50 And a speaker from among them will say: verily there was unto me a mate. 51 'Do you believe in the Day of Judgment? 52 Shall we be recompensed for our deeds after we die and become bones and dust? 53 He shall say: Will you look on? 54 Then looketh he and seeth him in the depth of hell. 55 He will say to him: -- By Allah, you almost ruined me. 56 Had it not been for the grace of my Lord I too would have been there (in Hell). 57 So, are we not going to die, 58 Except our previous death? And we shall not be chastised? 59 This is certainly the greatest triumph 60 For the like of this let the workers [on earth] work. 61 Is that the better entertainment or the Tree of Zaqqum? 62 Lo! We have appointed it a torment for wrong-doers. 63 for, behold, it is a tree that grows in the very heart of the blazing fire [of hell,] 64 its fruit [as repulsive] as satans' heads; 65 (The people of Hell) will surely eat of it, filling their bellies with it. 66 Then indeed, they will have after it a mixture of scalding water. 67 And thereafter verily their return is unto the Flaming Fire. 68 They found their fathers erring, 69 yet they run in their footsteps, 70 And certainly most of the ancients went astray before them, 71 and We had sent among them Messengers to warn them. 72 See then the end of those who were warned, 73 But not the chosen servants of Allah. 74
