The Embryo (Al-Alaq)
In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful
Recite in the name of your Lord Who created, 1 Has created man from a clot (a piece of thick coagulated blood). 2 Recite: And thy Lord is the Most Generous, 3 The One Who taught to write with the pen. 4 Taught man that which he knew not. 5 Nay! man is most surely inordinate, 6 Because he considers himself self-sufficient. 7 Surely unto thy Lord is the Returning. 8 What thinkest thou? He who forbids 9 a servant [of God] from praying? 10 Tell me, if he (Muhammad (Peace be upon him)) is on the guidance (of Allah)? 11 or if he commands others to maintain piety!? 12 Hast thou considered whether he may [not] be giving the lie to the truth and turning his back [upon it]? 13 does he not know that Allah sees? 14 And yet indeed if he does not desist We shall drag him by the forelock, 15 A lying, sinful forelock! 16 So let him call his associates, 17 We shall call on the guards of Hell. 18 No! Do not obey him. But prostrate and draw near [to Allah]. ۩ 19
Almighty Allah's Truth.
