Q (Qaaf)
In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful
Qaf. By the glorious Quran! 1 Nay, but they marvel that a warner of their own hath come unto them; and the disbelievers say: This is a strange thing: 2 "What! When we die and become dust, (shall we live again?) That is a (sort of) return far (from our understanding)." 3 (Thus do they imagine, although) We know well what the earth takes away from them. With Us is a Record that preserves everything. 4 In fact, they have rejected the truth that has come to them, thus, they live in confusion. 5 What, have they never observed the heaven above them, (and seen) how We built and adorned it, leaving no crack? 6 We spread out the earth and set upon it solid mountains and We brought forth from it all kinds of delightful plants, 7 Giving insight and a reminder for every servant who turns [to Allah]. 8 We sent down blessed water from the sky with which We caused gardens and the grains of harvest to grow, 9 and tall palm-trees with their thickly-clustered spathes; 10 As a provision for men, and enlivened a region that was dead. Even thus will be the life after death. 11 Before these, the people of Nooh had denied, and so did the dwellers of Rass and the Thamud. 12 As did the people of 'Ad and Pharaoh and the brethren of Lot, 13 and the people of Aykah, and the people of Tubba'. They all gave the lie to the Messengers. Thereafter My threat of chastisement against them was fulfilled. 14 What, were We wearied by the first creation? No, indeed; yet they are in doubt about a new creation. 15
