We also favored Moses and Aaron 114 And saved them and their people from the great distress, 115 And We helped them, so that they were the victors; 116 And We gave them both the Book that made (things) clear. 117 And We guided them to the Straight Way. 118 And We left for the twain among the posterity: 119 "Peace be upon Moses and Aaron!" 120 This is how We reward the virtuous. 121 Lo! they are two of Our believing slaves. 122 Verily Elias is one of the apostles. 123 (Call to mind) when he said to his people: “Will you not fear Allah? 124 Do you call on Baal, and abandon the Best of creators? 125 Allah is your Lord and the Lord of your fathers, the ancients' 126 But they belied him, so they will be among the arraigned (in Hell), 127 Except the chosen bondmen of Allah. 128 and We left for him among the later folk 129 Peace be upon Ilyas! 130 Even thus do We reward the doers of good. 131 For he was one of our believing Servants. 132 Verily Lot was one of the apostles, 133 We saved him and all his people, 134 Except his wife among those who remained [with the evildoers]. 135 and We destroyed the rest. 136 Verily, ye pass by their (sites), by day- 137 and at night. Will you then not understand? 138
