The Backbiter (Al-Hummazah)
9 verses, revealed in Mecca after Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah) before Dispatched (Al-Mursalaat)
In the name of God, The Most Gracious, The Dispenser of Grace
Woe to every fault-finding back-biter, 1 Who has gathered wealth and counted it, 2 He thinks that his wealth will make him last forever! 3 By no means! He shall surely be cast into the crushing torment. 4 And what can make you know what is the Crusher? 5 The fire of Allah, kindled, 6 Which leapeth up over the hearts (of men). 7 Verily it will close in upon them, 8 in endless columns! 9
Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.
