It is He Who has created for you (the faculties of) hearing, sight, feeling and understanding: little thanks it is ye give! 78 And He it is who has caused you to multiply on earth; and unto Him you shall be gathered. 79 And He it is who grants life and deals death; and to Him is due the alternation of night and day. Will you not, then, use your reason? 80 On the contrary, they said the same as what the former people used to say. 81 They say: What! When we are dead and become dust and bones, shall we then be raised? 82 Assuredly this we have been promised - we and our fathers - aforetime: naught is this but the fables of the ancients. 83 Say: "To whom does the earth and whosoever is upon it then belong, if you know?" 84 They will surely say: God's. Say thou: will ye not then heed? 85 Say: "Who is it that sustains the seven heavens and is enthroned in His awesome almightiness?" 86 [And] they will reply: "[All this power belongs] to God." Say: "Will you not, then, remain conscious of Him?" 87 Say: "Whose is the sovereignty over all things, who protects, and against whom there is no protection? {Answer) if you have knowledge." 88 They will say, 'God's.' Say: 'How then are you bewitched? 89 Nay, We have conveyed unto them the truth: and yet, behold, they are intent on lying [to themselves]! 90 God has not taken to Himself a son, nor is there any other deity besides Him; otherwise, each god would have walked away with what he had created. They would surely have tried to overcome one another. Glory be to God, above all that they ascribe to Him. 91 The All Knowing, of every hidden and the visible – so Supremacy is to Him over their ascribing of partners (to Him). 92
