Seest thou not those that dispute concerning the Signs of Allah? How are they turned away (from Reality)?- 69 Those who cry lies to the Book and that wherewith We sent Our Messengers -- soon they will know! 70 When the fetters and chains are round their necks they shall be dragged 71 Through boiling waters; then they are thrust into the Fire. 72 And then they will be asked: "Where now are those [powers] to which you were wont to ascribe divinity 73 "Besides Allah" They will say: "They have vanished from us: Nay, we did not invoke (worship) anything before." Thus Allah leads astray the disbelievers. 74 That is because you exulted in the land unjustly and because you behaved insolently. 75 Enter the gates of Gehenna, to dwell therein forever.' How evil is the lodging of those that are proud! 76 So be patient, [O Muhammad]; indeed, the promise of Allah is truth. And whether We show you some of what We have promised them or We take you in death, it is to Us they will be returned. 77 Assuredly We have sent apostles before thee, of them are these whose story We have recounted unto thee and these whose story We have not recounted unto thee. And it was not possible for any apostle that he should bring a sign save by Allah's leave. So when the commade of Allah cometh, judgment will be given with truth, and then will lose the followers of falsehood. 78
