Surely warners came to the people of Pharaoh. 41 They, too, rejected all Our signs. So We seized them with the seizure of One Mighty, Omnipotent. 42 Are your infidels better than these? Or is there an immunity for you in the Writs? 43 Or do they say: We are a host allied together to help each other? 44 Soon will their multitude be put to flight, and they will show their backs. 45 In fact, the Hour of Doom is the time for them to suffer. The suffering of this hour is the most calamitous and the most bitter (of all suffering). 46 Lo! the guilty are in error and madness. 47 The day when they are dragged on their faces into the Fire: 'Taste now the touch of Sakar!' 48 We have created everything in a determined measure. 49 It takes only a single command from Us (to bring the Day of Judgment) and that can be achieved within the twinkling of an eye. 50 And We have already destroyed your kinds, so is there any who will remember? 51 And everything they did is in written records. 52 And every small and great thing is recorded. 53 Verily, The Muttaqun (pious), will be in the midst of Gardens and Rivers (Paradise). 54 In the seat of honor with a most Powerful King. 55
