Indeed for the pious, with their Lord, are Gardens of Serenity. 34 Shall We then treat the People of Faith like the People of Sin? 35 What is the matter with you? How could you judge this to be so? 36 Or have ye a scripture wherein ye learn 37 that tells you to do whatever you want? 38 Or you have oaths from Us, reaching to the Day of Resurrection that yours will be what you judge. 39 Ask then, which of them will stand thereof a surety? 40 Or have they "partners"? Then let them bring their "partners" if they are truthful! 41 (Remember) the Day when the Shin shall be laid bare (i.e. the Day of Resurrection) and they shall be called to prostrate (to Allah), but they (hypocrites) shall not be able to do so, 42 Their eyes humbled, humiliation will cover them. And they used to be invited to prostration while they were sound. 43 Therefore leave the one who denies this matter, to Me; We shall soon steadily take them away, from a place they do not know. 44 A (long) respite will I grant them: truly powerful is My Plan. 45 Or is it that thou dost ask them for a reward, so that they are burdened with a load of debt?- 46 Or [do they think] that the hidden reality [of all that exists] is within their grasp, so that [in time] they can write it down? 47 BEAR THEN with patience thy Sustainer's will and be not like him of the great fish, who cried out [in distress] after having given in to anger. 48 Were it not that favor from his Lord had overtaken him, he would certainly have been cast down upon the naked Found while he was blamed. 49 But his Lord chose him and placed him among the righteous. 50 Hence, [be patient,] even though they who are bent on denying the truth would all but kill thee with their eyes whenever they hear this reminder, and [though] they say: "[As for Muhammad,] behold, most surely he is a madman!" 51 Yet it is purely an admonition to mankind. 52
