The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the name of God, The Most Gracious, The Dispenser of Grace
۞ Exalt the Name of your Lord, the Highest, 1 Who has created (all things) proportionately, 2 and who determines the nature [of all that exists,] and thereupon guides it [towards its fulfilment,] 3 Who bringeth forth the pasturage, 4 And then doth make it (but) swarthy stubble. 5 We shall enable thee to recite, and then thou shalt not forget, 6 except what Allah wills, surely, He knows all that is (spoken) aloud and what is hidden. 7 And We will make your way smooth to a state of ease. 8 REMIND, THEN, [others of the truth, regardless of] whether this reminding [would seem to] be of use [or not]: 9 Those who have fear of God will benefit 10 But it will be avoided by the wretched, 11 and suffer the heat of the great fire 12 Wherein he will neither die nor live. 13 He who purifies himself, 14 And mentions the name of his Lord and prays. 15 However, (the disbelievers) prefer the worldly life 16 While the hereafter is better and more lasting. 17 Lo! This is in the former scrolls. 18 the revelations of Abraham and Moses. 19
