Al-Aadeyaat
The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)
In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
I swear by the runners breathing pantingly, 1 sparks of fire striking, 2 And by oath of those who raid at dawn. 3 and raising clouds of dust, 4 Cleaving, as one, the centre (of the foe), 5 VERILY, towards his Sustainer man is most ungrateful 6 And most surely he is a witness of that. 7 And is intractable in his love of worldly goods. 8 ۞ Is he not aware of the time when the contents of the graves will be brought out? 9 and all that is in the hearts is made public, 10 Surely, on that Day, they will know that their Lord had full knowledge of them all. 11
God the Almighty always says the truth.
