The righteous (will be) amid gardens and fountains (of clear-flowing water). 45 “Enter them with peace, in safety.” 46 We shall remove all rancor from their hearts, and as brethren they shall recline on couches face to face. 47 Toil cometh not unto them there, nor will they be expelled from thence. 48 ۞ Tell My servants that I - I alone - am truly forgiving, a true dispenser of grace; 49 And that indeed the punishment of Mine is a painful punishment. 50 And inform them of the guests of Ibrahim: 51 when they came to him they greeted him with: "Peace." He said,"We feel afraid of you." 52 They said: be not afraid; verily we bear thou the glad tidings of a boy knowing. 53 [Ibrahim (Abraham)] said: "Do you give me glad tidings (of a son) when old age has overtaken me? Of what then is your news?" 54 They said, "We have given you the glad news for a true reason so do not despair". 55 He said: And who despaireth of the mercy of his Lord save those who are astray? 56 And asked them: "What matter, O angels, brings you here?" 57 They answered: "We are sent to people lost in sin [who are to be destroyed,] 58 Except Lut's followers: We will most surely deliver them all, 59 all together, excepting his wife -- we have decreed, she shall surely be of those that tarry.' 60
