And when the sent angels came to the house of Lut. 61 he said: "Behold, you are people unknown [here]!" 62 They said: "Yea, we have come to thee to accomplish that of which they doubt. 63 “And we have brought to you a true command, and indeed we are truthful.” 64 Go, then, with thy household while it is yet night, with thyself following them in the rear; and let none of you look back, but proceed whither you are bidden." 65 And We decreed for him that commandment, that the last remnant of those should be cut off in the morning. 66 And the people of the city came rejoicing. (* To the house of Prophet Lut.) 67 and he told them, "These are my guests, so do not disgrace me. 68 "And fear Allah and disgrace me not." 69 "Did we not restrain you," they said, "from (entertaining) creatures from the outside world?" 70 He said: "There are my daughters (to marry), if ye must act (so)." 71 By your life! they were blindly wandering on in their intoxication. 72 But the (mighty) Blast overtook them before morning, 73 We turned the town upside down and rained upon them stones of clay. 74 Verily, in all this there are messages indeed for those who can read the signs: 75 it is still there on the highway -- 76 Verily in that is a sign for the believers. 77 The dwellers of the Wood (near Midian) were also wicked. 78 So We chastised them. The desolate locations of both communities lie on a well-known highway. 79

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
