And We sent Noah to his people; and he, said, 'O my people, serve God! You have no god other than He. Will you not be godfearing?" 23 The chiefs of his people, who did not believe, said: "He is only a man like you. He wishes to acquire ascendancy over you. If God had willed He would have sent down angels. We never heard this from our elders. 24 He is nothing else except a man who is mad, so watch him for awhile. 25 Noah said, "My Lord, help me! for they have rejected me," 26 So We sent him the divine revelation that, “Make the ship in front of Our sight, and by Our command – then when Our command comes and the oven overflows, embark in it two of every couple, and from your household except those upon whom the Word has been decreed; and do not speak to Me in respect of these unjust people; they will surely be drowned.” 27 And when thou art on board the ship, thou and whoso is with thee, then say: Praise be to Allah Who hath saved us from the wrongdoing folk! 28 and say, 'My Lord, let me land with Your blessing in a blessed landing place. You alone can provide the best landings.'" 29 Verily in that are signs; verily We have ever been provers. 30 We brought another generation into existence after the people of Noah. 31 and We sent amongst them a Messenger of themselves, saying, 'Serve God! You have no god other than He. Will you not be godfearing?' 32
