Charity (Al-Maa'oon)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
HAST THOU ever considered [the kind of man] who gives the lie to all moral law? 1 It is he who turns away the orphan 2 And urges not the feeding of AlMiskin (the poor), 3 So ruin is to those offerers of prayer – 4 who are heedless of their prayers (delaying them from their prescribed times), 5 Those who (want but) to be seen (of men), 6 Yet refuse small kindnesses! 7
