We also favoured Moses and Aaron, 114 And We delivered them both and their people from the mighty distress. 115 And helped them, so that they became the victors; 116 We gave them the explicit Book, 117 And We guided them on the straight path. 118 And We left for them (a goodly remembrance) among generations (to come) in later times; 119 Peace be upon Moosa and Haroon! 120 This is how We reward the virtuous. 121 they were among Our believing servants. 122 Elias was certainly a Messenger. 123 when he spoke [thus] to his people: "Will you not remain conscious of God? 124 "Will you call upon Ba'l (a well- known idol of his nation whom they used to worship) and forsake the Best of creators, 125 Allah, your Lord and Lord of your forefathers? 126 but they rejected him, and thus will certainly be called to account; 127 Except the sincere and devoted Servants of Allah (among them). 128 And We left (this blessing) for him among generations (to come) in later times: 129 Peace be with the followers of Elias. 130 Even so We recompense the good-doers; 131 For he was one of our believing Servants. 132 And lo! Lot verily was of those sent (to warn). 133 When We saved him and his household, every one, 134 Except an old woman, who became of those who stayed behind. 135 then We destroyed the others, 136 You pass by (their ruined town) in the morning 137 and in the night; will you not understand? 138
