And it is He Who has created ears and eyes and hearts for you; very little is the right you acknowledge. 78 It was He who scattered you on the earth, and before Him you shall be gathered. 79 It is He who gives you life and death, and His the alternation of night and day. Even then you do not understand, 80 Rather, they say like what the former peoples said. 81 They said: "When we are dead and have become dust and bones, shall we be resurrected indeed? 82 “Indeed this promise was given to us and before us to our forefathers – this is nothing but stories of earlier people.” 83 Say: "To whom belong the earth and all beings therein? (say) if ye know!" 84 They will say: "To God." Say: "Then why do you not bethink yourselves?" 85 Say, "Who is Lord of the seven heavens and Lord of the Great Throne?" 86 [And] they will reply: "[All this power belongs] to God." Say: "Will you not, then, remain conscious of Him?" 87 Ask them, "If you have any knowledge, in whose hands is the ownership of all things? Who is the one who gives protection and yet He Himself is never protected?" 88 They will surely say: "(The dominion over all things) belongs to Allah." Say: "Whence are you then deluded?" 89 Nay, but We have brought them the truth (Islamic Monotheism), and verily, they (disbelievers) are liars. 90 Allah has not taken any son, nor has there ever been with Him any deity. [If there had been], then each deity would have taken what it created, and some of them would have sought to overcome others. Exalted is Allah above what they describe [concerning Him]. 91 Knower of the Invisible and the Visible! and Exalted be He over all that they ascribe as partners (unto Him)! 92
