▼ 51 Drivers of the Winds
Al-Dhaareyaat 3 of 3
We have made the heavens with Our own hands and We expanded it. 47 And the earth We have spread out, and excellent is the preparer. 48 And in everything have We created opposites, so that you might bear in mind [that God alone is One]. 49 Therefore flee unto God! I am a clear warner from Him to you. 50 Do not set up with Allah another god. I am a clear warner to you from Him. 51 [But] thus it is: never yet came any apostle to those who lived before their time but they said, "A spellbinder, ["sorcerer" is he,] or a madman!" 52 Have they handed this down from one to another? No, rather, they are an insolent nation. 53 So turn away thou from them, not thou art blameworthy. 54 And admonish, for verily admonition profiteth the believers. 55 And I have not created the jinn and mankind but that they should worship Me. 56 I seek no livelihood from them, nor do I ask that they should feed Me. 57 Indeed, it is Allah who is the [continual] Provider, the firm possessor of strength. 58 Those who do wrong will indeed come to the same end as their fellows (of old). So let them not ask Me to hasten (the punishment). 59 Woe, then, betide those who disbelieved in that Day of theirs which they are being asked to hold in dread. 60
True are the words of Allah the Almighty.

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
