The Inevitable (Al-Waaqe'ah)
96 verses, revealed in Mecca after T H (Taa Haa) before The Poets (Alshu'araa')
In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful
۞ When the inevitable event comes, 1 Then none will be able to deny its occurrence. 2 It will bring down [some] and raise up [others]. 3 when the earth will suddenly shake with a terrible shaking, 4 The mountains bruised and crushed, 5 and become like scattered dust particles, 6 And ye shall be sorted out into three classes. 7 Then (as to) the companions of the right hand; how happy are the companions of the right hand! 8 Those on the Left -- how unlucky are those on the Left! 9 And the forerunners, the forerunners - 10 Those are the ones brought near [to Allah] 11 In Gardens of Delight. 12 A multitude from the ancients. 13 And a few of those (foremost) will be from the later time (generations). 14 On thrones woven [with ornament], 15 Reclining on them, facing one another. 16 There shall go round unto them youths ever-young. 17 With vessels, pitchers and a cup [of wine] from a flowing spring - 18 Wherefrom they get no aching of the head nor any madness, 19 And fruits that they may like. 20 and with the flesh of any fowl that they may desire to eat; 21 And (there are) fair ones with wide, lovely eyes, 22 like hidden pearls, 23 The reward for what they did. 24 They will hear no nonsense there or talk of sin, 25 (Naught) but the saying: Peace, (and again) Peace. 26 And those on the right hand; what of those on the right hand? 27 (They will be) among Lote-trees without thorns, 28 And banana-trees (with fruits), one above another. 29 and spreading shade 30 And water flowing constantly, 31 and fruit abounding, 32 That will neither finish, nor ever be stopped. 33 and raised couches 34 Indeed, We have produced the women of Paradise in a [new] creation 35 And made them virgin - pure (and undefiled), - 36 chaste, loving companions of the same age 37 For the Companions of the Right Hand. 38

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
