▼ 74 The Hidden Secret
Al-Muddath-thir 2 of 2
By no means! By the moon, 32 And by the Night as it retreateth, 33 And the dawn when it shineth forth, 34 Surely, it is one of the gravest things, 35 Warn the men. 36 For the one among you who wishes to come forward or stay back. 37 Every soul is a pledge for its own deeds; 38 Except those on the Right, (i.e. the pious true believers of Islamic Monotheism); 39 In Gardens; they shall be asking, 40 About the guilty: 41 “What took you into the hell?” 42 They will answer: We were not of those who prayed 43 and we did not feed the poor, 44 we indulged in vain arguments along with those who indulged in them; 45 and belied the Day of Recompense 46 Until the certainty (of death) had come upon us. 47 Then will no intercession of (any) intercessors profit them. 48 Then what is wrong with them that they turn away from admonition, 49 as though they were terrified asses 50 Fleeing from a lion! 51 No indeed; each one of them desires that open letters be sent to each of them. 52 Nay, verily. They fear not the Hereafter. 53 Nay, verily. Lo! this is an Admonishment. 54 So whosoever will (let him read it), and receive admonition (from it)! 55 No one will seek guidance unless God wills it. He alone is worthy of being feared and He is the Source of Forgiveness. 56
God the Almighty always says the truth.

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
