Say: 'Lord, if You should show me that which they are promised, 93 then do not include me, my Lord, among these wrong-doing people." 94 And indeed We are Able to show you the promise they are given. 95 Repel, by [means of] what is best, [their] evil. We are most knowing of what they describe. 96 And say thou: my Lord! I seek refuge with Thee against the whisperings of the satans. 97 And I seek refuge with Thee, my Lord! lest they may be present with me. 98 When death approaches one of the unbelievers, he says, "Lord, send me back again 99 "So that I may do good in that which I have left behind!" No! It is but a word that he speaks, and behind them is Barzakh (a barrier) until the Day when they will be resurrected. 100 When the trumpet blast is sounded no ties of lineage will hold among them, nor will they ask after one another. 101 Then as for him whose good deeds are preponderant, these are the successful. 102 but if it weighs less, one will be lost forever in hell. 103 The Fire will burn their faces, and therein they will grin, with displaced lips (disfigured). 104 "Were not My Verses (this Quran) recited to you, and then you used to deny them?" 105 They will say, “Our Lord! Our ill-fate overcame us, and we were the astray people.” 106 O our Lord! take us forth from it; then if we return, we shall be wrong-doers indeed. 107 'Slink you into it,' He shall say, 'and do not speak to Me. 108 "Behold, there were among My servants such as would pray, 'O our Sustainer! We have come to believe [in Thee]; forgive, then, our sins and bestow Thy mercy on us: for Thou art the truest bestower of mercy!' 109 But you took them for laughingstock, mocking at them, until they caused you to forget My remembrance. 110 I have rewarded them this Day for their steadfastness, and it is they who have triumphed." 111 He will ask, "How many years did you stay on earth?" 112 They will reply: 'A day, or part of a day; ask those who have kept count' 113 He (Allah) will say: "You stayed not but a little, if you had only known! 114 "Did you think that We had created you in play (without any purpose), and that you would not be brought back to Us?" 115 So exalted be Allah, the True King; no god is there but He, the Lord of the honorable dominion. 116 And whoever invokes (or worships), besides Allah, any other ilah (god), of whom he has no proof, then his reckoning is only with his Lord. Surely! Al-Kafirun (the disbelievers in Allah and in the Oneness of Allah, polytheists, pagans, idolaters, etc.) will not be successful. 117 And say (O Muhammad SAW): "My Lord! Forgive and have mercy, for You are the Best of those who show mercy!" 118
God Almighty has spoken the truth.

Notes and Instructions
قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
