The unbelievers say, 'What, when we are dust, and our fathers, shall we indeed be brought forth? 67 We have been promised this, and our fathers before; this is naught but the fairy-tales of the ancients.' 68 Say (unto them, O Muhammad): Travel in the land and see the nature of the sequel for the guilty! 69 Do not sorrow for them, nor be thou straitened for what they devise. 70 Yet they say: "When will this promise come to pass? (Tell Us) if you speak the truth." 71 Say: Maybe there may have drawn near to you somewhat of that which you seek to hasten on. 72 But verily thy Lord is full of grace to mankind: Yet most of them are ungrateful. 73 And verily thine Lord knoweth whatsoever their breasts conceal and whatsoever they make known. 74 There is nothing that is hidden - be it in the heaven or the earth - but is recorded in a Clear Book. 75 Surely this Qur'an explains to the Children of Israel most of the matters concerning which they have disagreements 76 It is a guide and mercy for the believers. 77 Surely, by His Judgement, your Lord will decide between them. He is the Mighty, the Knower. 78 so put your trust in God. Surely you are on the path of manifest truth. 79 You cannot make the dead to listen, or the deaf to hear the call, when they have turned their backs, 80 Nor canst thou lead the blind out of their error. Thou canst make none to hear, save those who believe Our revelations and who have surrendered. 81 ۞ And when the Word falls on them, We will bring out from the earth a beast that shall speak to them: 'Indeed the people were not certain of Our verses.' 82
