Surely warners came to the people of Pharaoh. 41 They rejected each one of Our signs. So We seized them with the grip of one mighty and powerful. 42 Are the unbelievers of yours better than these, or is there an exemption for you in the scriptures? 43 Or do they say: "We are a well-accoutred army?" 44 Their multitude will be put to flight, and they will show their backs. 45 Nay, the hour is their promised time, and the hour shall be most grievous and bitter. 46 Lo! the guilty are in error and madness. 47 On the day when they are dragged upon their faces in the fire – “Taste the heat of hell.” 48 Surely We have created everything according to a measure. 49 And Our command is but one, like a glance of the eye. 50 We did indeed destroy many like you. Is there, then, any who will heed? 51 All their deeds are in the Scrolls, 52 All things small or great have been written down. 53 Lo! the righteous will dwell among gardens and rivers, 54 In the seat of honor with a most Powerful King. 55
