The Rolling (Al-Takweer)
29 verses, revealed in Mecca after Thorns (Al-Masad) before The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful
When the sun shall be wound round, 1 And when the stars fall, dispersing, 2 when the mountains shall be set in motion, 3 And when milch camels roam abandoned. 4 The wild beasts stampede on the run, 5 And when the seas rise, 6 And when souls are united, 7 And when the female (infant) buried alive (as the pagan Arabs used to do) shall be questioned. 8 For what sin she was killed, 9 And when the written pages of deeds (good and bad) of every person shall be laid open; 10 And when the heaven shall be stripped off and taken away from its place; 11 and when Hell is set ablaze, 12 And when Paradise is brought near, 13 then, each soul shall know what it has produced. 14 BUT NAY! I call to witness the revolving stars, 15 Go straight, or hide; 16 And by the night as it closes in 17 And by the dawn as it brightens; 18 This is indeed the recitation of an honoured Noble Messenger. (Angel Jibreel peace and blessings be upon him.) 19 of power, given a rank by the Owner of the Throne 20 [the word] of one to be heeded, and worthy of trust! 21 Your companion (Muhammad) does not suffer from any mental illness 22 And indeed he (Muhammad (Peace be upon him)) saw him [Jibrael (Gabriel)] in the clear horizon (towards the east). 23 He is not chary of making public what is unknown. 24 Nor is it the word of a satan accursed. 25 When whither go ye? 26 This is nothing but a Reminder to the worlds, 27 For those of you who desire to walk the path that is straight, 28 But ye shall not will except as Allah wills,- the Cherisher of the Worlds. 29
God the Almighty always says the truth.

Notes and Instructions
When reading the Colorful Quran in English transliterated Arabic mode, you may not notice that there is an algorithm designed to match the pause requirements of the original Arabic scripture, (waqf signs). As you may know, the original Arabic Quran has five main types of pauses, (waqf) signs. (1) Compulsory break, where the transliteration uses a full stop. (2) Optional pause with the preference for pausing, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a probability of two thirds. (3) Optional stop with an equal preference for pausing and resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a half-half probability. (4) Optional pause with the preference for resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a chance of one third. (5) Attraction pause, also called hugging, or (mu’anaka) sign, where it is compulsory to pause at either one of two nearby positions, but not both; where the transliteration inserts a comma at either one of the two locations with a half-half probability.
