The Cheaters (Al-Mutaffifeen)
36 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Spider (Al-Ankaboot) before The Heifer (Al-Baqarah)
In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful
Woe to the diminishers, 1 Who, when they take the measure (of their dues) from men take it fully, 2 But when they measure out to others or weigh out for them, they are deficient. 3 Do they not realise that they will be raised to life 4 (To be raised) for a Great Day? 5 The Day when mankind will stand before the Lord of the Universe? 6 Nay! Surely the record of the wicked is (preserved) in Sijjin. 7 and what shall teach thee what is Sijjin? 8 A book inscribed. 9 Woe on that Day unto the beliers 10 Who deny the Day of Recompense. 11 And none can deny it but the Transgressor beyond bounds the Sinner! 12 who, when Our verses are recited to him, says: “Mere tales of olden times!” 13 No. In fact what they have been doing has rusted their hearts. 14 No indeed! On that Day they will be screened off from seeing their Lord, 15 and then, behold, they shall enter the blazing fire 16 They will then be told: "This is what you had denied." 17 By no means! Verily the record of the virtuous shall be in 'Illiyun. 18 But how will you comprehend what 'Illiyun is? 19 It is a (repository of) distinctly written record 20 To which bear witness those brought nigh. 21 The virtuous will live in bliss, 22 On thrones, looking (at all things). 23 and in their faces you shall know the radiance of bliss. 24 They will be given pure wine to drink, which is kept preserved, sealed. 25 The sealing of it is (with) musk; and for that let the aspirers aspire. 26 Blended with the water of Tasnim, (heights ultimate of evolution), 27 a fountain at which the chosen ones shall drink. 28 Surely they who are guilty used to laugh at those who believe. 29 And wink one to another when they passed them; 30 And when they returned to their household they returned jesting. 31 On seeing the believers, they would say, "These people have gone astray". 32 Yet they were not sent to be their guardians. 33 But this Day (the Day of Resurrection) those who believe will laugh at the disbelievers 34 On high thrones, watching. 35 Will not the Unbelievers have been paid back for what they did? 36

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
