The Quake (Al-Zalzalah)
8 verses, revealed in Medina after Women (Al-Nesaa) before Iron (Al-Hadeed)
In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate
When the earth is shaken with its violent shaking, 1 and [when] the earth yields up her burdens, 2 and man cries out, "What has happened to her?" 3 That day she will relate her chronicles, 4 Because thy Lord will inspire her. 5 Upon that day men shall issue in scatterings to see their works, 6 Whosoever has done even an atom's weight of good will behold it; 7 and whoever does an atom's weight of evil shall see it. 8
God Almighty has spoken the truth.
